Entrusted by the World Tourism Organization of United Nations (UNWTO), Ivy Alliance Tourism Consulting successfully organized the business visit of Chinese travel trade delegation in South America from March 26 to April 5, 2016. Chinese travel trade delegation also attended the WTM_Latin America and the 45th Brazil Tourism Trade Conference held in Sao Paulo of Brazil.

During the visit, Ivy Alliance, in cooperation with UNWTO/WTM, held the   International Symposium on Chinese Outbound Tourism for the first time in South America. The symposium focused on Chinese outbound tourism market characteristics and latest development trends, how South America destinations attract and receive Chinese tourists and other hot topics. Ivy Alliance also introduced the China Outbound Tourism Quality Service Certification Program, certification criteria and the latest implementation updates, which were very welcomed by Latin American tourism departments and suppliers. WTM_Latin America is one of the most influential tourism events in South America.

China tourism delegation also visited major tourist cities in Brazil and Argentina, conducting field study about their tourism resources and reception service facilities as well as in-depth business exchange with local tourism suppliers. Senior executives from leading tourism operators, outbound tourism wholesalers and MICE operators such as CYTS, CYTS MICE, CITS MICE, Phoenix Travel Worldwide, Wuzhouxing Travel Services, Latin Travel (Nanmeifenxqing) participated in the business visit and achieved good results and gave a high praise on the visit. The Chinese travel trade visit was organized with great support of UNWTO, the Brazil Ministry of Tourism, Brazil National Tourism Association, Rio De Janeiro Tourism & Convention Board and Argentina Ministry of Tourism.
