Invited by Embassy of Italy and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Ivy Alliance jointly organized the Sino-Italian Outbound Tourism Seminar at Italian Embassy on November 3, 2016. The seminar focused on Chinese outbound tourism market structure, characteristics, latest development trends and other market study topics. Ivy Alliance also introduced the China Outbound-Tourism Price Index (OPI) and the revised China Outbound Tourism Quality Service Certification Program, certification criteria and the latest implementation updates, which were very welcomed by Embassy officials, representatives from China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Alitalia Airlines, Italian incoming operators and other tourism suppliers.

Head of Consular Section of Italian Embassy, Chairman of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, President of China-Italy Tourism Association and other speaking guests addressed the audience or gave keynote speeches in the Seminar. 2018 is China-EU Tourism Year. Italy is paying close attention to the growth potential of China tourism source market and will increase marketing and promotion efforts in China in 2017.
