Between September 11 and 16, the 22nd General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) was held in Chengdu, China. As a conference of the highest caliber in the global tourism industry, the UNWTO General Assembly is held once every two years. The conference has gathered hundreds of ministerial dignitaries as well as over 1000 delegates from around the world.
